Minimum Profitable Days
How Profitable Days work and the minimum required on Endurance Mode, Pay with Profits Endurance and One Step Light accounts
You must complete the minimum Profitable Day requirement to pass a stage or request a payout on some account types, such as Endurance Mode, Pay with Profits Endurance and One Step Light. A Profitable Day is a trading day where the closing balance is higher than the previous EOD reference by at least a set percentage of the initial account balance. That percentage is set by the rules of the account you are trading, and the rules article for your account confirms which applies.
A new trading day starts at 22:00 GMT during standard time and 21:00 GMT during US Daylight Savings. The EOD reference is defined as the higher of the account balance or account equity at the end of the trading day.
ℹ️ It can take up to 10 minutes after the end-of-day for your stats to update.
Profitable Day requirements
The number of Profitable Days you need is set by the rules of the account you are trading. A one-stage challenge has a single requirement to pass. A two-stage challenge has a requirement on each stage. Your Simulated Funded Account has its own requirement, which must be met again between each payout.
The number required is the same on every account size. The minimum daily profit that makes a day count is your account's percentage applied to your initial balance, so it scales with account size. The rules article for your account confirms both figures.
How it's calculated
A Profitable Day is achieved when your closing balance minus your previous EOD reference is greater than your account's percentage of the initial balance. This value is always based on the initial balance and does not change based on prior rewards or losses.
Example
Suppose an account has a $100,000 initial balance and a 0.5% requirement, giving a minimum daily profit of $500. If your previous EOD reference at 22:00 GMT on Sunday is $99,600, your closing EOD reference must reach at least $100,100 by 21:50 GMT on Monday to count as a Profitable Day.
🚨 Closing a single position over multiple trading days to meet the Profitable Day requirement with one trading idea is prohibited. This may be flagged during manual account reviews and could result in corrective actions.
