Payout Caps
How payout caps work — percentage-based limits that increase over time, plus the $5,000 hard cap
Payout caps limit how much you can withdraw in a single payout. There are two tiers: a percentage-based cap that increases with each payout, and a hard cap of $5,000 that applies to everyone regardless.
Tier 1: Percentage-based cap
Each payout is limited to a percentage of your account balance. The cap starts at 3% and rises by 1% with every successful payout, to a maximum of 6%. This is the same on every account type: Classic, Consistency, Endurance, Instant Accounts, One Step Light and Pay with Profits.
ℹ️ The percentage cap applies to your gross profit (before your profit share split is applied). Any profit above the cap stays in your account for future payouts, it is never lost.
ℹ️ On a Pay with Profits account, your first payout also has to clear the PWP Fee, which is deducted from the capped amount. See Pay with Profits — Payouts.
Accounts purchased before 27 August 2026
Classic, Consistency and Endurance accounts purchased before 27 August 2026 keep the cap they started with:
Instant Accounts and One Step Light have always used the 3% to 6% cap, so nothing changed for them.
Tier 2: Hard cap
🚨 No payout can exceed $5,000 (USD/GBP/EUR). This is a fixed hard cap that applies to all accounts regardless of account type, payout number, or percentage-based cap. Even if your percentage-based cap allows a higher amount, the hard cap limits your payout to $5,000.
How the two tiers work together
Your payout is limited by whichever cap is lower. The percentage-based cap sets the maximum based on your account balance, and the hard cap ensures no single payout exceeds $5,000.
Example 1 — Percentage cap is the limiting factor
Account: $10,000 (promoted from challenge)
1st payout, profit: $1,200
Percentage cap: 3% of $10,000 = $300 gross
Hard cap: $5,000
Result: Payout capped at $300 gross (percentage cap is lower)
Example 2 — Hard cap is the limiting factor
Account: $150,000 (promoted from challenge)
4th payout, profit: $9,000
Percentage cap: 6% of $150,000 = $9,000 gross
Hard cap: $5,000
Result: Payout capped at $5,000 gross (hard cap is lower)
Example 3 — An account purchased before 27 August 2026
Account: $20,000 (promoted from challenge, purchased 1 August 2026)
1st payout, profit: $1,500
Percentage cap: 6% of $20,000 = $1,200 gross
Hard cap: $5,000
Result: Payout capped at $1,200 gross (percentage cap is lower)
ℹ️ After each payout, you must complete the trading standards and payout target again before you can request another withdrawal.
