What is the Static Max Loss?
The Static Max Loss refers to the maximum loss your account can withstand, which means if your equity falls below this loss limit, your account will be disqualified. Unlike the Max Trailing Loss, which is available to choose from in our one-stage challenge, the Static Max Loss limit will remain fixed.
We use a different Static Max Loss percentage, depending on the program you choose.
Two-stage program
For the two-stage program, the Static Max Loss is 9% of your starting balance.
One-stage program
For the one-stage program, the Static Max Loss is 6% of your starting balance.
Calculating the Static Max Loss Limit
You do not need to calculate the Static Max Loss limit; it is calculated in real time and displayed in your dashboard.
The calculation for the Static Max Loss limit is the following:
Initial balance - (initial balance * static max loss)
Example #1
If your initial balance is $100,000 and you chose the two-stage challenge, your Static Max Loss limit is $9,000. This will not change at any point.
Can I increase my Static Max Loss?
Yes. You can increase your Static Max Loss by 1% after you achieve Rank 2 in our Experience Programs.
