Introduction

The PipFarm-funded trader program is a virtual trading challenge that tests your trading skills. There is a fee to participate in each challenge, and you must pay the fee each time you wish to take one.

To pass the challenge, you must reach the profit target without breaching any rules. If you pass, you will be enrolled in the funded trader program and provided with a simulated funded account. From this account, the company may pay you a reward for your performance in the simulated funded account. If the trader breaches any of the rules set in the program, you will be disqualified from the program but can rejoin the program by passing a new challenge.

Choosing a challenge

We offer various challenge formats that determine the conditions of your funded account when passing. The options you'll have to consider are:

  • Format: one-stage or two-stage challenge.

  • Drawdown type: static or trailing.

  • Account size: from 5K to 300K

This table provides an overview of the challenge formats.

The Welcome Pack

After purchasing your challenge, you'll receive an email with everything you need to get started. It contains the rules you need to follow and links to access the dashboard and cTrader.

Accessing the cTrader platform

When you start a new PipFarm challenge, we create a new cTrader account for you. Unlike other trading platforms, cTrader does not provide a unique account number and password for each trading account. Instead, your new cTrader account is linked to your cTrader ID.

If you don't already have a cTrader ID, we will create one for you. Otherwise, your new account will be linked to your existing cTrader ID.

cTrader is available in many formats, including Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and most web browsers. You can find links to download it in the PipFarm dashboard or on the cTrader website.

Finding your cTrader credentials

cTrader links all your accounts to one email address called your cTrader ID.

If this is your first time using cTrader, you will receive an official cTrader email asking you to create a password. If you don't receive an email, it means you may already have a cTrader ID but perhaps forgot. In this case, visit https://id.ctrader.com/ and click "Forgot Password?" to generate a password for your email. Remember to use the same email address you used to join PipFarm.

How to access the PipFarm Dashboard?

You can access the PipFarm dashboard at app.pipfarm.com. Read our dashboard guide to learn more.
