What is Enhanced Verification?

At certain points in your journey with PipFarm, we may need to collect additional information from you. This process is called Enhanced Verification. It's part of our responsibility to comply with international anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.

Enhanced verification is different from basic ID checks. It focuses on verifying the source of funds (where the money originated) and the destination of funds (where the funds are going), especially when significant amounts are involved.

‼️A request to participate in Enhanced Verification does not mean you’ve done anything wrong—it’s a normal part of maintaining a compliant and secure business environment.

Enhanced Verification process

Depending on the situation, enhanced verification may include:

  • Completing a short questionnaire.

  • Joining a brief video call with our team to confirm your identity and discuss your economic background.

  • Providing additional supporting documents, such as proof of address, a source of funds declaration or an updated or secondary ID.

These steps help us ensure that everything remains transparent, compliant, and in line with regulatory expectations, especially for our payment processing partners.

When Enhanced Verification is required

We may request enhanced verification if:

  • You’ve spent a substantial amount on challenges.

  • You’ve received or requested many or large payouts.

  • Your account activity triggers certain AML or risk flags.

  • We need to verify the legitimacy of your transactions.

This does not mean you’ve done anything wrong—it’s a normal part of maintaining a compliant and secure trading environment.

FAQs

Is this the same as a Performance Review?

No. Enhanced verification is different to performance reviews. Enhanced verification relates to identity, financial history, and AML compliance. Performance reviews relate to trading style and behavioural patterns within our program. You may be asked to complete both at different times, but each has a different purpose and process.

What happens if I don't comply with enhanced verification?

We take our compliance responsibilities seriously. If you refuse to complete the enhanced verification process, fail to provide the required documents, or provide forged documents, we may be unable to send any payouts. Non-compliance may result in the termination of your account and prevent you from using our services in the future.

Why does PipFarm do Enhanced Verification?

Although PipFarm is not a financial institution, we work with third-party service providers to accept and send funds. These partners need to trust that we have strong verification procedures in place.

If we fail to protect them from risk, they may suspend or restrict our ability to process payments, which would affect everyone.

That’s why we take compliance seriously. It’s our shared responsibility to make sure PipFarm is not used to facilitate money laundering or organised crime.
